How does auto-seat work?

Auto-seat places your unseated guests into open seats. Each category sits together, at its own tables when it has some, and your rules are followed. Guests who are already seated stay where they are, and guests who declined are never seated. You see the result on the plan first and nothing changes until you choose Apply.

  1. On the seating chart, choose Auto-seat. A panel opens beside the plan.
  2. Categories: put guests who belong together in a category, like Family or Work friends.
  3. Tables: pick a category, then tap the tables it should sit at on the plan.
  4. Seat: add any extra rules if you want them, then choose Seat guests. The plan shows where everyone would sit.
  5. Choose Apply to keep it, or Back to leave your chart as it was.

The same guests, tables and rules always give the same result, so running it twice will not shuffle anyone.
