How do I keep two guests apart?

In the guest list, tick the guests and choose Keep apart. Auto-seat will not put them at the same table. If they end up together anyway, both rows show a conflict badge.

To keep two whole groups apart, give each group a category, then add a rule that keeps the two categories apart, from Rules in the guest list or from Fine-tune in the Auto-seat panel. See seat a group together.
